Helen will be laid to rest at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, 76012.
Helen was born January 29, 1929, in Athabasca, Alberta, Canada, to August and Otelie Johnson. She married Sherl Clark George on July 25, 1948, who preceded her in death in 1963. In her spare time, Helen loved to knit, crochet, and garden, and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Otelie Johnson; brothers, Henry and Alvin Johnson; sister, Alice Johnson; and grandson, Michael Dye.
Helen is survived by her sister, Ethel Hochhalter; daughters, Karen Hames and Janis Dye; grandchildren, Aimee Zimmerman and husband, Scott, Melissa Hames, and Arron Hames; great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Shelby, and Makenna; and her many nephews and nieces.
