To my sister and friend Joy and the entire family my prayers and thoughts are with you all during this difficult time in your life. As often as you can just think of all the good times that you all shared.And now lean on God. I love you and I am praying for you all.

   We were very sad to hear about the loss of Mrs. Ida Coney. We wanted you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. At a time like this, your faith will be challenged. Hold strong to your faith. Being the strong Christians that you are has its advantages, especially during this time. Remember, God will take care of you.
  May the Lord's grace and compassion be your rock and give you inner peace. God is good and He is always right by your side. He hears and answers every prayer.
  Remember the good times you shared with Mrs. Coney throughout the years. Hold on to those precious memories. We're sure that she has left a beautiful Legacy behind through some life that she touched. Her presence is in your hearts and our hearts as well. It will live on for years to come. We will miss her but; we will never forget her beautiful singing voice, loving character and strength.
  Countless times throughout the days ahead, you will find yourselves remembering her. Although you can no longer see or hear her, know that she is not gone. She is just further down the path than the rest of us. Try to think of it this way Heaven just received a new angel. When you think that you're at the end of your rope just tie a knot and hold on with all your strength. Time is the greatest healer there is in life. Celebrate her life. Gay, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I pray God comforts your heart as only He can.

I worked with Ms. Coney for several years in the Employee Health Clinic at JPS Health Network.  She always treated each person with a servant heart and would sing to the babies while giving shots so that they would not cry.  I learned so much about life from you.  To the family you are in my prayers.
