

son of Guadalupe and Herlinda Casas. He spent his formative years in Grand Prairie, Texas, where he graduated from Grand Prairie High School with his GED in 1977.
Ignacio proudly served in the Marine Corps for six years and later dedicated over 27 years of his career as a utility fields manager at the City of Mansfield Water Department.
In 1978, Ignacio married Lorie Raeann Nolen, and together they built a loving family with their children. Ignacio was fiercely protective of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren,
and his family, along with his beloved Frenchie dog, Carlos, were his pride and joy.
Ignacio enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending quality time with his family. He had a special bond with his Uncle Mace Casas, with whom he loved going to the casino. Ignacio was known for his
generous spirit; he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
Ignacio is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Herlinda Casas, his sister, Lupita Casas, and his mother-in-law, Shirley Hull.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lorie Casas, his sons, David & wife Rachel Casas, Christopher & wife Courtney Casas, Eric & wife Ashley Casas, son, Tony "Pudge" Patton and Joan and Family. His daughter, Delinda & husband Andy Amburn; Grandchildren, Desiree and Cody Grissom, Destini Casas, Kain Rodriguez, Delanie Casas, Christopher Casas Jr., Cash Casas, Ethan and Makaleigh Dorsey, Kaden Dorsey, Presleigh Manis, Corey Sigler and family, Kylie Sigler, Kaitlyn Anthony and Family, Emily Lister and Family; Great Grandchildren, Mason Grissom, Wyatt "Bubby" Grissom, Myles Rodriguez, Lylah Rae Rodriguez, Ezra Dorsey, Fynnleigh Dorsey; Brothers, Juan Casas, George & wife Jamie Casas and family; Sisters, Rosa and Eddie Shields and family, Olga Leyh and Family, Linda & husband Danny Nicolls and family and Nancy & husband Jeff Perry and Family; and many brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ignacio's legacy of love and protection will be cherished by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2025 from 12 to 6 pm at North Texas Jellystone Park, 2301 S. Burleson Blvd in Burleson, TX 76028.
