Jim married Martha Mauldin on January 10, 1953 in Sherman, Texas. To this union was born a son Terry Lynn Allen and a daughter Kathy Sue Allen McClain.
Jim graduated from high school in Collinsville, Texas in 1948 and served two years in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Dallas Airmotive (Aviall Corporation) after many years of dedicated service.
His son, Terry Lynn Allen and three grandsons preceded Jim in death.
Jim is survived by his wife Martha Mauldin Allen and daughter Kathy Sue McClain, granddaughter Kristi Anne Cowdrey, three great grandsons and two great granddaughters, and a host of family and friends who loved him dearly.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas followed by the funeral service on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. A committal service will be held at Moore Memorial Gardens.
