Jim passed away May 3, 2026, in Bedford, TX. He was born on March 20, 1940, in Seagraves, TX to C.E. Blakeman and Mary Ellis McRae. Jim was raised on the family ranch in Ft Worth, TX and graduated from Handley High School. He studied at TCU. He and Rhonda Bingham were married in 1977, and shared their life until her passing in January, 2022. He was father to James Blakeman, Bryan Blakeman, Scot Blakeman and Yvette Blakeman. He is survived by his older brother Robert Blakeman, Brother-in-law Roy Bingham and Brother-In-Law Billy Bingham. He spent much of his life building agencies, recruiting and training sales professionals nationally for many companies. Most of his last ten years were spent founding and running various entrepreneurial enterprises. Jim was well traveled and had a passion for flying airplanes, golfing and spending time with his many grandchildren and their children.
