James Dow Davis, 71, of Arlington, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 in Arlington. As were his wishes, he will be returned to his birth state of Tennessee, following cremation. No local services are planned. James was born April 21, 1942 in Tiptonville, Tennessee. He worked most of his life as a long haul truck driver. Survivors include his wife Mary Lou Davis of Arlington; daughter Linda Chriswell of Dallas; sisters, Wanda, Ruth, Marty, Nita, and Linda and many nieces and nephews, all of Tennessee.
