

Janice Sue Nicholson, 85, passed away on August 15, 2026. Born October 2, 1940, Janice was a cherished presence in the lives of those who knew and loved her, remembered for a steady compassion and a kind-hearted way of caring for others that made people feel welcomed and valued.
Janice made her home in Arlington, Texas. In 1959, she married Kenneth Nicholson, and together they built a life centered on family, raising two children and nurturing a home where love was expressed through everyday attentiveness and generosity of spirit.
Those closest to Janice will especially remember the simple joys that brought everyone together—shopping trips, quiet hours spent reading, and the comfort of meals lovingly prepared for her family. Family gatherings were a natural extension of who she was: beloved, warm, and giving, with a gentle instinct for making others feel at ease.
Janice is survived by her husband, Kenneth Nicholson; her daughters, Patricia McFatridge (Michael) and Penny Charrier; her granddaughters, Kristina Nicholson, Tiffany Charrier, and Kala Psencik; her great grandsons, Braden Nicholson, Adrian DelAngel, Kobe DelAngel, and Jason DelAngel; her great great granddaughters, Alana DelAngel, Ivy Nicholson, and Raelynn DelAngel; her sisters, Cheryl Goodwin and Judy Schrank (Ronnie); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
