Born and raised in Arlington, Jason graduated from Martin High School and later studied engineering. He built a career in the aviation industry, and worked at many companies including Bell Helicopter and most recently Airbus Helicopter.
Jason is survived by his beloved wife, Ivy Nguyen; his mother, Norma LaJudice; his sister, Amy LaJudice; and his cherished godchildren, Nora Blake and Jason Blake, whom he loved as his own. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald LaJudice.
Jason was larger than life—loud, gregarious, and endlessly welcoming. He had a rare gift for turning strangers into friends and friends into family. His joyful spirit, quick wit, and love of a good prank made him the heartbeat of every gathering, always ready with a story, a laugh, or a moment of connection.
Jason loved taking things apart and re-engineering them to be better. Above all, he treasured time spent with his godchildren, who brought him immeasurable happiness.
More than any hobby or career achievement, Jason’s greatest legacy is the community he built around him. He nurtured friendships that spanned decades, brought together people from all walks of life, and showed up—without hesitation—whenever someone needed him.
He will be remembered for his generosity, his mischievous humor, his boundless enthusiasm for life, and the countless friendships he cultivated. His absence leaves a profound void, but the connections he forged and the lives he touched will continue to endure.
