Jeanine Rae Clark passed away peacefully on September 10, 2021. Born in 1930 in Houston, Texas, Jeanine approached every day with grace, strength and curiosity. She had a brilliant mind and a fierce spirit that will live on in the hearts of her adoring family.
She met the love of her life, Bill, in a physics class at Milby Senior High. They married in 1948 and by 1952 had the first of their five beloved children. Jeanine was a dedicated, patient mother, instilling kindness and capability in each of her sons and daughters, and later into each of her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jeanine was an avid gardener, a talented painter, and a voracious reader. Together with Bill, she traveled every corner of the globe, from the peaks of Mt. Rainier to Ireland, Turkey and beyond — returning home to Arlington each time with a renewed sense of adventure and excitement to plan the next journey.
Jeanine made the world a better place by her daily example of love and endurance. She was preceded in her passing by her husband of 70 years, Billy Fred Clark; daughter Rebecca Ann Remington; daughter Susan Jeanine Tune; and son David Andrew Clark.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Eileen Leonard and son-in-law Allen Leonard; son Mark Stephen Clark and daughter-in-law Dee Clark; son-in-law Buddy Remington; son-in-law Warren Tune; and daughter-in-law Susan Clark. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September, 18, at 2 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, Texas, 76012.
