Jeannie Marie (Yeater) Tillery age 73, passed away on August 19, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on March 10, 1953, in Oklahoma City, OK to Eugene Winslow Yeater and Pearl Marie (Comstock) Yeater. Jeannie Was raised in Oklahoma City and Later Lancaster Texas and Graduated from Lancaster Highschool in 1971 and The University of Texas at Arlington in 1991. She Married Jesse Lewis Tillery in 1981 and the couple had 5 children. She was a unit supervisor for Tarrant County Child Protective Services where she worked for over 25 years.
In her spare time, she enjoyed dancing, traveling, spending time with her kids and grandkids and singing with her beloved husband Jesse. She always brought energy, laughter, and joy no matter what she was doing. Her family and friends will always remember her as a ball of energy, fiercely loyal, loving and full of the joy of life and laughter. She was a community leader and advocate for abused women and children, dedicated to a lifetime of service to others.
She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Pearl Yeater, Husband Jesse Tillery and her oldest son Bryan Tillery.
She is Survived by her sister Nancy little, Daughters Sherri Tillery, Gale and her husband, Ronnie Wortham, sons, Matthew, and Jason Tillery; eight grandchildren, Bryan Tillery, Garrett Wortham, Colson Tillery, Raegan Tillery, Liam Tillery, Jesse Tillery, Allison Tillery and Emily Tillery.
Jeannie will be deeply missed and remembered for the joy, laughter and love she brought to everyone she met. Her presence was felt the moment she walked into a room, whether she spoke or not. She was a fierce force of nature standing at only 5’2” tall. She had a personality and a laugh bigger than Texas itself. She loved her family and friends and took great pride and joy in seeing them grow in their lives. She was a woman with a sincere and unshakable faith in the Lord Jesus. She loved God and her family, serving and defending those who couldn't defend themselves. She loved bringing joy to others and leaving every person better than the way she found them. The impact she made on so many lives will echo in eternity. Loving wife, loving mother, crusader, and friend will never be forgotten. I love you Momma.
