Visitation: Tuesday, 6-8 pm, March 14th @ the Funeral Home. Funeral: 3pm Wednesday, Mar 15th, Moore Funeral Home Chapel.Interment will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens.
Jerald was born November 08, 1962 in Arlington to James and Laura Miller Tackett.He grew up in the Presbyterian faith, giving his heart to the Lord at an early age.He loved music; played guitar, trombone, and the harmonica. Favorite activities were jamming with friends, camping, fishing, & hunting. He also had a lifelong interest in Civil War History. He was a loyal fan of the Texas Rangers & the Dallas Cowboys. He loved being with family, friends, and especially children. His occupation was Shipping & receiving; 10 yrs with Owens Corning, 10 yrs with Serco & 10 yrs with A L Industries.
He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Tackett, and brother,Mark E. Tackett. Survivors: Mother, Laura Faye Miller Tackett; Sister & brother-in-law, Sharon Tackett and Sam Means, Garland; Nieces’: Ashley Renee Tackett, Arlington; & Carolyn Means Roberts, Jacksonville; Nephew: David Alvear, Arlington; Great Nephews: David L. J.Alvear & Colby Roberts. Great Nieces; Carley Roberts & Annaleigh Alvear. Uncles: Lonnie Miller, Waco; & Ray Vinson, Abilene. Aunts: Alma Tackett Bridges, Waco; Jean Tackett Forbus, Corsicana; & Shirley Miller Gilmore, Waco.(Cousins by the dozens).
