

Jerrell was born on August 14,1931 to Clifton Cleo Jackson and Bertha Lee Tucker in Delta County, Texas. He was the eldest of three brothers, with Franklin and Clifton joining the family.
Jerrell married the love of his life, Mary Elizabeth, and spent 51 years building a wonderful life together.
Jerrell was father to sons Freddy Jackson, Troy Jackson and Paul Hill, his daughters Gail Wilburn and Teresa Wilburn, the youngest who affectionately called her Daddy “The King.”
Jerrell retired from Oil States Industries after serving for 43 years and 3 months.
He was a lifetime member of Masonic Lodge #438. He also was a 25-year member of the Assembly of God and Revive Churches in Arlington.
Though Daddy may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He was a man of integrity, kindness, generosity and he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
His love for his Lord was something he shared with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, friends and extended family, leaving a mark on all of us that will never fade.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sons and one daughter.
He is survived by his wife Mary, one daughter Teresa, one son Paul, 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends.
A visitation for Jerrell will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive Arlington, TX 76012. A graveside service with Masonic Rites will follow the visitation at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Drive Arlington, TX 76012.
