Jerry Don Huchingson

Jerry Don Huchingson, a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 67 in Mansfield, Texas. Born on July 26, 1956, to Willis "Doc" and Rebecca Huchingson, Jerry's life was marked by his dedication to family and friends, his passion for motorcycles and cars, and his love for collecting unique treasures.

Jerry's journey began in Dallas, Texas, where he was welcomed into the world by his parents, Willis "Doc" and Rebecca. He grew up in Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School as a member of the class of 1974.

Jerry's career path led him into the world of diesel mechanics, a field where he showcased his exceptional skills and commitment. Throughout his long career, he earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends who appreciated his dedication and expertise.

Outside of work, Jerry had a zest for life and a keen eye for collectibles. He found joy in amassing a diverse collection of coins, antique fans, and scouring eBay for motorcycle parts to fuel his planned projects.

Jerry's greatest source of pride and happiness were his children, Amber and Matt, who survive him. He cherished the role of father and grandfather. He is survived by his grandchildren, Allison, Bradley, Celeste, and William, who all brought endless joy and love into his life.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Willis "Doc", and survived by his mother, Rebecca, and his sisters, Brenda, Patty, and Janie.

A celebration of Jerry's life will take place on Friday, September 29, 2023, with visitation beginning one hour before the 10:00 AM funeral service at Moore Funeral Chapel.

Jerry will forever be remembered for his unwavering love, his incredible work ethic, and his unbreakable bond with his family. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know him, and he will be deeply missed.
