To Jerry's loved ones, he was my partner and friend for 30 plus years. He was a kind, sweet man, and a fantastic physician and colleague. He had a great self- deprecating sense of humor, and a wry wit and smile.
Even though we somewhat lost touch after he retired, I will genuinely miss him.

There are times in life when we meet folks who touch us deeply in ways others do not.  Even though we may have only known them briefly, deep down,  we just know that there's something very unique about the person.  Dr. Jerry Jennings was this way.  His level of compassion, generosity, caring, unequaled kindness and selflessness is not common today.  Whether you knew him very well or not well at all, you could recognize quickly that he been blessed with a gift that we need more of in this world.  May the hearts and faith of his family and friends rest in the Lord.  We pray you will know His peace through this time.

"...Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

Dr. Jennings was such a wonderful, kind and caring person. I am so sad to learn of his passing. He was a man that loved the Lord deeply and his life touched many for the Kingdom. He served on the Board for Bread for a Hungry World prior to our merger with Christian Relief Fund and his generosity was second to none. His legacy and love for the "least of these" will resound for years to come. To his family....please know you are being prayed for and may  you find peace and comfort during this time of sorrow.

I volunteered with Dr. Jennings at the Cornerstone Clinic in Fort Worth from 2017 until 2022. I remember how caring he was with each patient and how kind he was with all the staff. I remember at the time we first met I was getting ready to graduate High School and I was nervous about going off to college. I remember he reassured me that if I could handle the patients, I could handle college. He was such a kind, sweet person. He always knew how to make you feel at ease. My deepest condolences to all his family.

I worked with Dr. Jennings at the Randolph Mill clinic as the manager. He was so kind and always had me buy a cake when it was an employee’s birthday to make their day extra special. Rest in peace Dr. Jennings!

To all the family of Dr. Jennings,
So sad to learn of Dr. Jennings. I worked with Dr. Jennings at Family Healthcare associates . One of the most intelligent Dr's I know. The last time I saw him was approximately 5 years ago when I was working at U.T.A. I walked over to Mission Arlington where he did so much volunteer work. We were so happy to see each other.
I pray Jesus will wrap his him around you today and in the months to come.

I worked alongside Jerry from the time I started practicing at Family HealthCare Associates in 1995 until his retirement. I considered him as a mentor and friend and I was truly fortunate to have him in my life as both. He delivered outstanding care to all of his patients with compassion whether at FHCA or in his multiple volunteering efforts after retirement.  A better model for a family physician would be difficult to find.  My heart goes out to his family in this difficult time.

I worked for DR Jennings for 8  years  until he retired . He was an excellent Doctor but his knowledge in the medical field was far more than a Medical degree,  DR Jennings had a true gift from God and saved  many lives.  He will forever be missed.
