Jerry Vue was born on Monday, January 28, 1991, in Farmers Branch, Dallas County, Texas. He attended elementary school in Irving ISD and graduated from James Bowie High School in Arlington, Texas. He went on to graduate from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering.
After completing his bachelor's degree, Jerry relocated to Lake Charles, Louisiana to work for CB&I, and lived there for a year before moving to Aiken, South Carolina, where he continued his engineering career with Savannah River Nuclear Solutions until his passing on Monday, August 17, 2026.
Since he was a child, Jerry loved attending church, and was baptized at fifteen years old. He spent his youth serving God at Hmong Baptist Community Church as a worship leader and continued to fellowship with his brothers and sisters in Christ into adulthood. He also enjoyed spending time with his co-workers and his bible study group in South Carolina. Jerry was musically talented and had a special love for playing instruments like the saxophone and guitar. As he became successful in his career, he continued to give to God's church and was known for his selflessness and generosity. He treasured the memories he made with the people around him and will always be remembered for the life he shared with his family and friends.
Jerry is survived by his parents, Sai and May, and his two younger brothers, William and Michael.
Though his life was far too short, Jerry was deeply loved and will be forever missed. His memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
