Jessie Lou Hiltibidal passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 in Arlington, TX. Jessie was born on June 2, 1932 in Holdenville, OK to E.G. and Ruby Merriman. She married Johnny Franklin Hiltibidal on December 20, 1955 in Ada, OK. Jessie is preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her sister, Wanda. Jessie is survived by daughter, Kathy Peace of Arlington, TX; daughter, LaTrisha Hiltibidal and husband Baker of Arlington, TX; son, Johnny Michael Hiltibidal and wife Paula of Watauga, TX; daughter, Janet Neal and husband Al of Temple, TX; sister, Ozell Youngblood of Holdenville, OK; sister, Lorettie Davis and husband W.C. of Munday, TX; brother Jerry Merriman of Holdenville, OK; grandsons Kevin (and wife Rebecca), John (and wife Dena), Ernest (and wife Summer), Eric (and wife Jennifer), Payton (and wife Alecia), and Chad (and wife Cassidy); granddaughters Jessica (and husband Justin), Paige (and husband Brad), Peri (and husband Austin), Tanya (and husband Richard), and Shelby (and husband Keven); 23 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Jessie was a member of North Davis Church of Christ for nearly 60 years.
Jessie, aka Granny or Granny Red, loved cooking, sewing, quilting, gardening, road trips, taking pictures, playing dominoes and all things John Wayne. She hated cuss words and would forever threaten to cut us all out of her will for having tattoos. She never knew a stranger and always made everyone feel welcome. She loved her family fiercely and never forgot a birthday or anniversary. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. We will miss her deeply. We love you, Granny!
