Johnnie Drew Hilliard

Arlington resident, Johnnie Drew Brocat-Hilliard, passed on August 16, 2017 in Arlington surrounded by her loved ones. Born on May 23, 1942 in Odessa, TX, Johnnie made Arlington her home in the late 1960's and soon found employment at The Candlelite Inn on Division Street where she was a valued waitress for over 40 years. She loved her work and the wonderful acquaintances and friends she made over the many years. Johnnie's "big" personality, which included a passion for the Cowboys and horse racing, will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Johnnie is survived by her son, Blake Seaton, of Los Angeles, CA; cousins, Jana Whittington-Dyck of Albuquerque, NM and her siblings, John, Mark and David Whittington of Edmonton Alberta Canada; stepdaughters, Shelia Grubb of Arlington, TX and Joanne Brewer of Palmer, TX; dear friends Jo McDaniel of Grand Prairie, TX, Charlene Shope and Kathy Quintana both of Arlington, TX.

A Memorial Service will be held on August 25, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home at 1219 N. Davis Dr. at 11:00 am to be followed by a Celebration of Life at the Candlelite Inn at 1202 E. Division St. in Arlington. Memorial donations may be made in Johnnie's name to St. Jude at stjude.org
