Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019 at Parkdale Cemetery, 701 S. Mary St., Arlington, 76010. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, 76012.
Johnny was born February 4, 1943 to Vernon and Margaret Swafford in Arlington. He served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Constellation. He worked for the Arlington Water Department and then for Lone Star Gas as a meter reader. He retired from Lone Star Gas after 30 years of dedicated service. In his spare time, Johnny enjoyed going up to Choctaw Casino and was a fan of an Elvis impersonator.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Margaret Swafford and brother, Bobby Chadwick Swafford.
Survivors: lifetime companion, Lana Hasty; cousins, Cherry Lynne Neal and husband, David, Judy Bullard, and Martha Dixson.
