Joseph Randall McGinnis

Services for Joseph Randall “J.R.” McGinnis will be 10:00 am on Friday, October 23, 2015 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Thursday, October 22 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. He passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 in Kennedale at the age of 35.

J.R. was born January 22, 1980 in Arlington, Texas to Lloyd Randall “Randy” McGinnis and Sue Nicholson McGinnis. He began playing baseball at five and enjoyed sports through his entire life. He graduated from Mansfield High School in 1998. He followed TCU sports, played softball and loved spending time with his black lab Carma and his family. J.R. married Kandace Molina on June 3, 2012 and was employed by Fed Ex.

J.R. was preceded in death by one brother, William Randall McGinnis, his paternal grandfather, William Thomas McGinnis and maternal grandfather, Melvin Orvile Nicholson.

Survivors include his wife Kandace McGinnis and daughter Harper Belle McGinnis, his parents, Randy and Sue McGinnis, paternal grandmother, Patsy McGinnis and maternal grandmother, Billy Ann Wallace and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
