Joseph Alonzo Ocampo

Joseph A Ocampo, 74, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 15, 2024. His strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, along with the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried him through this challenging journey.

Joseph A Ocampo was born on April 24, 1950, in the Philippines parents to Michelle, Joseph, Jacquelyn and Kathryn. He was the baby boy that completed the Ocampo Family and welcomed by older sister and brothers, Mila Ocampo Palalay, Federico and Nicolas and Naty (sister in-law) Ocampo.

Joseph completed his Bachelors of Science in Commerce, Major in Banking and Finance at Divine Word of College Laoag, Philippines.

Joseph met the love of his life Teresita Tumaneng while they were in College where they later were married on September 8, 1973. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year. He migrated in the US with his entire family in 1996 where he and Teresita established their home in Virginia Beach and made lasting friendships.

Joseph was known as very loving husband, father, grandfather and the best grandfurrfather. A jack of all trades and masters of everything, energizer, human alarm clock, na-unget but has the kindest and generous heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Federico and Salvacion Ocampo.

Joseph memories will be cherished by his wife, Teresita Ocampo and his loving children: Michelle, and Farley Joseph (Jun-Jun) and Carole, Jacqueline and Gervy, Kathryn and Jordan. 10 grandchildren: Joseph Carl, Josh Martin, Charlotte Jade, Brandon, Jamee, Bianca, GJ, Joseph (Joko), Kqevis Kurt, Kier Euseph; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will be receiving visitors at the Moore Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1219 N Davis Arlington, Texas 76012 on Monday, August 19th from 9:00 am to 9:00 p.m. Joseph will be going home to the Philippines to finally reunited with his mom and dad.
