Josephine better known as “Feak” to all was born on May 7, 1918 in Manhattan, New York. She was raised in Far Rockaway, New York. Josephine loved to share stories of her life growing up there with anybody she encountered.
On June 7, 1942 Josephine married the love of her life William Puzo, they were married for 65 years before his passing in October of 2008.
Josephine loved life and kept busy with many things including: sewing, knitting, golf, bingo, square dancing and volunteering at Medical Center Of Arlington as well as she was active with her church at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Arlington. Josephine loved Jesus and her family more than anything.
She was very independent never wanting to accept help from anyone, always stating “I don’t need help, I can do it by myself!!”
Josephine was preceded in death by her loving husband William J. Puzo and son Billy Puzo, Paula Guzzone wife of William Guzzone as well as her brothers and sisters.
Josephine is survived by her daughter Patricia (Robert) Guzzone of Mansfield, Texas, and grandchildren: Robert (Dawn) Guzzone of Mansfield, Texas, William Guzzone, Mansfield, Texas, granddaughter Dawn (John) Lesnar of Mansfield, Texas. Great grandchildren Megan (Andrew)Miller, Arlington, Texas, Brittany(Kyle Doering), Arlington, Texas, Jordan Guzzone, Joshua Guzzone Mansfield, Texas, Jonathan Bowe, Mansfield Texas, Morgan Lesnar, Mansfield, Texas and great great grandchildren Noah, Kaydence and Kennedy Doering of Arlington, Texas and Caleb Miller of Arlington.
We are all so grateful to God for blessing us with
Josephine. She will be truly missed here on earth
but through Jesus we know we have assurance of seeing her again in Heaven.
