Joyce A. Gillman

Joyce A. Gillman, 84, of Pantego, Texas, went to her heavenly home with Jesus on February 10, 2020.

Joyce was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 12, 1935. She graduated from Dorsey High School in Los Angeles, California. She was married to Wallace M. Gillman on January 27, 1957.

Joyce earned an Associates Degree in Child Development from Harper Junior College in Palatine, Illinois. After graduation, she had a rewarding career in child development.

Joyce was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she was a Commissioned Stephens Minister, served on Alpha Council, and volunteered through Salvation Army Christmas bell ringing sponsored by Trinity. She was in several Bible studies and a part of Bible Study Fellowship. She also participated in the Walk to Emmaus.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Cletus and Pansy Mae Stephens, and her husband, Wallace M. Gillman. She is survived by her sons: Michael W. Gillman (Sue) and Stephen L. Gillman (Wendy); her daughter, Meredi A. Anders (Mike); several grandchildren: Erin B. Gipson, Katherine M. Ineson, Christopher R. Gillman, Stephen M. Gillman, Morgan E. Gillman, Courtney P. Anders, and Kaitlyn M. Anders; her great grandchildren: Zachary E. Masters, Reese A. Masters, Ryan W. Gillman, Blake M. Gipson, Cooper D. Gipson, and Parker J. Gillman; her sister, Doris Noble; and her brother, David Stephens.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Moore Funeral Home located at 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas, 76012. Funeral service will be on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 10:00am at Trinity United Methodist Church located at 1200 W Green Oaks Blvd, Arlington, TX 76013.
