

Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Arlington Community Church. Interment: follows in Moore Memorial Gardens.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated by Metroplex Women's Clinic (formerly Arlington-Mansfield Pregnancy Center), Happy Hill Farm or your favorite charity or church.
Judi was born Jan. 20, EVERY. She grew up in Arlington and graduated from Lamar High School. She began her career in the travel industry working for Southwest Airlines and continuing into legal work for multiple attorneys.
Judi was passionate in helping and loving children, painting and volunteering. She held a position on the Arlington Pregnancy Center BOD and received the Ann Olson Ivey Annual Service award in 2009. Child Study Center of Fort Worth, SPCA, Arlington Life Shelter, Mission Arlington, Arlington Boys and Girls Club, and Salvation Army were the recipients of her many hours of fundraising efforts. Her love for church and philanthropy had no end.
Judi was known to many as the "Redheaded Angel," as she answered God's call for helping people in need and providing for families and single moms struggling to help make ends meet. She leaves a huge hole in the hearts of many and will be missed by all who ever met her.
Judi was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Laverne Brown; and adopted father, Wayne Truitt.
Survivors: Husband, Gary C. Martin; daughter, Evie Martin James; granddaughter, Hannah James; adopted mother, Phyllis Truitt; and many close, loving friends, family and caretakers.
