Julian Valdez, 79, was called home by the Lord on Sunday, August 14, 2022, surrounded by those he loved and those who deeply loved him. Julian was born on July 11, 1943 in Montemorelos, Mexico, and would have been 80 years old next year.
He retired a few years ago from Maddox Metal Works and A.C. Horn after many years of dedicated service, where he was always recognized as one of the very best craftsman in his trade and for his incredible work ethic. He enjoyed his retirement and his final days in his home in Arlington.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Sanjuana Marroquín and his Father José María Valdés. He was also preceded in death by his beloved sister Alicia, and brothers Faustino and Reynaldo.
Survivors: His beloved wife Anne Marie Valdez, and his sisters Lucía, María de Jesús, Amelia and María Andrea; his children Jennifer Gonzales Sims and Jeffrey and Yolanda Gonzales of Houston, Jason and Shiona Valdez of the Netherlands and John Valdez of Arlington; grandchildren Diana Mendoza, Brandon and Robert Gonzales, Daisy and Lindsey Sims, Julian and Maxim Valdez; great-grandchildren; Sister-in-law Lucille Garcia of Arlington; numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in both Texas and Mexico.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 15th at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive his family and friends at the same location from 3:30p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
