Katherine A. McDonald, 74 of Grand Prairie, Tx passed away peacefully under hospice care at her home where she wanted to be, with her family by her side. She was born in Minnesota and moved to California where she spent her youth with her parents, two brothers and two sisters. She married James R. McDonald on 5-20-1960 and moved to Grand Prairie Tx, raising a family of two daughters and one son. She was a housewife and Mother mostly, working at Gibsons Department store for about 7 years. Even though was a small woman, she was very strong as she fought a multitude of health issues throughout her adult life. She was loved by her family and friends. Survived by husband James R McDonald, brothers Bill and Rob, sisters Patricia and Jackie, children Cindy, Fred and Judy, grandchildren Tiffany, Joshua, Jami, Brianna and Jake, great grandchild Tyler, and son-in-law Jimmy Bellah.
