Katherine was born on December 21, 1940 in Wharton, Texas to James Smallwood and Dorothy Wilson Smallwood. She married Wayne Guidry on May 18, 1968.
There will be a private graveside service.
Katherine “Kathy” loved her family unconditionally. She provided daycare for all of her grandchildren as well as the grandchildren of her wonderful neighbors.
She also opened up her home to many of her sons friends when they needed a place to stay.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Wayne Guidry.
Survivors: Sons, Alan Guidry (Vicki), Mark Guidry (Linda), Eric Guidry (Darcy) and Blake Guidry (Lesley); sister, Barbara Morris;
grandchildren, Travis, Justin, Amanda, Morgan, Keely and Nolan; great-grandchildren, Sabine and Trinity.
