Kathryn Lester

Graveside service: 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Moore Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, officiated by her pastor, Bobby Bridges.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mayfield Road Baptist Church, 1701 E. Mayfield Road, Arlington, Texas 76014.

Kathryn was born in Jellico, Tenn., to the late Artie and Verdie Henegar. Kathryn's sincere faith in God and love for the Lord was demonstrated in every aspect of her life, and she was a dedicated member of Mayfield Road Baptist Church in Arlington.

With a gentle heart, contagious laugh and constant smile, Kathryn's love of family and life itself has had an enormous impact on her family and dear friends, and she will be greatly missed.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, Arnold Lester, and her brothers, Clyde Henegar and Ray Henegar.

Survivors: She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her daughter, Jean Crowley-Smith and her husband, David Smith; granddaughter, Alicia and her husband, Jeremy Pool; grandson, Robert Crowley; great-grandson, Christian Pool; brother, Farrell and his wife, Imogene Henegar; and brother, Tom and his wife, Vivian Henegar.
