

Kelly was born August 30th, 1958, in Fort Worth, TX to Brooksie Claus and Delbert Claus. Kelly was raised in Joshua, TX and attended Joshua High School. After graduation, he joined the US Navy and was stationed at the US Naval Weapons Station in Newport News, VA. After his service in the Navy, Kelly worked for the TXU Power Plant for several years.
Kelly was an avid biker, who had a passion for motorcycles and loved riding his Harley anywhere he went. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends, who shared the same lifestyle. He loved country dancing, listening to the blues, and playing darts. Kelly was known to be the jokester of his family and friends. Of all these things, he loved spending time with his kids and grandkids the most.
Kelly is survived by his daughters, Erin, Lorie & Stephanie; son, Logan; granddaughters, Madison, Brenlie, Brooklyn & Ily; grandsons, Corey, Holden & Aiden; brother, Teddy & wife Peggy; and a host of family and friends.
A committal service for Kelly will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.
