Kenneth Aubery Nicholson, 92, was born on December 28, 1933, in Paris, Texas, and died on September 16, 2026. A longtime resident of Arlington, Texas, Kenneth will be remembered with gratitude and affection for the steady way he showed up for the people he loved—dependable in all seasons of life, and generous with his time, his hands, and his heart.
In 1959, Kenneth married his wife, Janice Nicholson, and together they built a family that remained at the center of his life. His love was practical and constant—expressed in everyday care, in being someone others could count on, and in the quiet reassurance of a man who made things better simply by being there. Janice preceded him in death.
Kenneth’s days held the simple pleasures he enjoyed most: watching TV, settling in for Dallas Cowboys football or westerns. He also loved working outside and working on cars—places where his patient, capable nature shone brightest. A true “Mr. Fix-It,” Kenneth had a gift for seeing what needed attention and following through, reliably and without fuss.
Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Patricia McFatridge (Michael) and Penny Charrier; granddaughters, Kristina Nicholson, Tiffany Charrier, and Kala Psencik; great grandsons, Braden Nicholson, Adrian DelAngel, Kobe DelAngel, and Jason DelAngel; and great great granddaughters, nieces, and nephews.
A Committal Service with Military Honors will be held on October 2, 2026, at 11:00 am. Kenneth will be laid to rest at Moore Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington.
