Larry was born Sept. 23, 1930, in Dallas. He graduated from prep school at Missouri Military Academy, then went on to SMU where he played football. Larry served in the Army and in the Navy Reserve. He truly enjoyed golf, flying and officiating football. He also took pleasure in activities with his friends at Robson Ranch.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Betty Jones; and his parents, Lawrence and Opal Jones.
Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Bobbie Jones; sister, Shirley McDonnold; son, Kelly Jones and wife, Susan, and their children, July Louis and Jordan Jones; daughter, Carla Walker, and her daughter, Hannah Boney; and great-granddaughter, Emily.
