Lawrence Ray “Larry” Aultman, 63, passed away at an Arlington hospital on May 1, 2021 after a short illness. Funeral service & interment: Date & Time. Moore Funeral Home and Moore Memorial Garden, 1219 N. Davis, Arlington Texas.
Larry was born and raised in Fort Worth and was the son of Norma and Ronald Aultman, who was a prominent and respected attorney in Fort Worth. His proud grandparents were Rev. L.T. & Lillie Aultman and Ray & Bertha Beck, all of Fort Worth.
Larry graduated from Eastern Hills High School in 1975. He was a special person who was greatly loved by his family. He had many struggles during his time on earth, and yet he really loved life. He enjoyed playing golf and the electric guitar and always tried to make people laugh. Larry’s parents were the mainstays of his life, and he deeply respected and looked up to his big sister, Madeline. He depended on her for so many things, and they had a very strong bond.
The main focus of Larry’s life was serving God. He dearly loved his Saviour, Jesus Christ. Sometimes he and his mother would sing hymns and read scripture at home together. He tried to bring people to Jesus and spent hours reading and studying the Holy Bible. He particularly enjoyed singing gospel music.
We are grateful that now he is joyfully singing in the heavenly choir!
Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Madeline & Herb Meistrich of San Diego; nephew Jason Meistrich of Singapore; cousin Cynthia “CJ” Colton of Fort Worth; cousin Bob Colton and his wife Mary Jane of Lancaster; and many other cousins and friends.
