Service: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Visitation: The family will be accepting guests 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Moore Funeral Home. Leon was born Jan. 16, 1935. He was a member of First Christian Church, Arlington. Leon was a beloved husband of 51 years, dad, granddaddy and great-granddaddy. He served his country in the U.S. Army and ran his own company of 43 years, Mr. Blue Jeans. Survivors: Leon is survived by his wife, Georgene Sanford; son, Steve Sanford and wife, Debbie, and their children; daughter, Diane Sanford Zink and children and grandchildren; brothers, Ralph Sanford and wife, Barbara, Tommy Sanford and wife, Linda; and the love of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
