Joy was a fun loving cousin..Always loved going to grandma Rutherfords house where Joy lived so we could play and also Aunt Eula always made me pretty clothes like Joys. She made us a pretty coat one time and put white fluffy rabbit fur trim on it. What a treasure to remember.
Loved always to talk to her..just a few days before she passed though she was having a rough day she still remained upbeat..she was such a positive person ,if I started to go negative she alwa ys managed to get me back on track.
Kennith and I introduced her and Bud and they seemed to immediately fall in love. WHAT A COUPLE THEY BECAME.WHAT A BLESSING FOR YOU KIDS TO HAVE PARENTS SUCH AS THEM.
Though I haven't met you kids I love you.
Cousin Oleta.

I met Twanna and Joy a few years ago and loved visiting with them. Joy and Twanna was upbeat even when they were dealing with a lot of pain. My life was blessed by knowing Joy. I am so happy she is back with her husband Charlie again. She will be missed and I look forward to seeing her again when I go to Heaven. God be the Glory.

Ms. Joy was one of the sweetest people to ever cross our paths. She was very compassionate and God loving. We will miss her. She and Mr. Lowry had a wonderful family also.

To the family of Joy
The first time I saw her was when Twanny brought her into our Bible study class. She was in a wheel chair but seemed to be a very special lady. I talked to her on the phone and she seemed to be always cheery. I will never forget the day I first saw her. She was in my memory from then on. I want you to know that I think she was a special lady to all of you. I am very sorry of your loss. Love in Jesus. Julia Brinkley
