Leiza Lorenz, 84, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026, with her devoted daughter, Deborah, at her side. She was survived by her daughter Deborah Teresso and two grandchildren Nicole and Christian Teresso, and sister, Barbara Fairchild.
Born on April 17, 1942, in San Rafael, CA, Leiza dedicated more than 20 years to supporting her late husband, of 38 years, throughout his Navy career while also working in the medical field.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Leiza found joy in traveling on cruises, gardening, crocheting, reading, and creating cherished memories with her family during vacations in Hawaii. Her generous heart, kind spirit, and wicked sense of humor touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Leiza has been reunited with her beloved husband in Heaven and laid to rest beside him at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in loving memory of Leiza Lorenz.
Leiza will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched. Her legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
