

Linda Jean White went to be with the Lord Monday, January 21st. Linda was born in Arlington, TX to mother Lois and Gene Harris, where she was also reared. Linda made a decision as a young girl to faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Linda graduated from Arlington, high school. Although she lived a difficult life, Linda was faithful to raise all of her children in church. Linda loved her family! She brought her children to Vacation Bible School, Sunday school, church plays. Church was a refuge for Linda and her family. She did whatever it took to provide for the needs of her family, sometimes working multiple jobs to make ends meet. She worked as a Pharmacy tech for several years. Linda is probably best known for her passion to work with children. She has ministered to literally hundreds of children over the over the past several decades. Linda loved taking care of children at Lamar Baptist church. She treated each child as if they were her own. In the hospital, her main regret was that she could not be in church. Linda modeled for her family, her church, and community what a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ looks like. Linda is survived by her children, Terrie Davis, Tim McFadin, Lisa Beeman, Bryan McFadin, Christie Rush., sister, Susan Reid, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends and loved ones. Linda has been reunited with Rickey White her youngest son, and sister Marsha Bumpous, in heaven. Linda will be missed all.
