On November 14, 2022, Marsha Colbert passed away peacefully at the age of 50, in Arlington, TX. Marsha was born March 27, 1972, in Coffeyville, KS to John L. Colbert and Mattieleen S. Colbert.
Marsha resided in Parsons, KS with her father John Colbert, were she graduated from Parsons High School. Growing up she enjoyed Michael Jackson so much that she rocked her infamous black leather jacket with her one curl left out. You couldn’t tell her she wasn’t fly! Marsha started her family in Tulsa, OK, later moved to Wichita, KS, then eventually settled in Arlington, TX.
Marsha had a thriving career where she always strived for success. She was a woman of determination, she enjoyed a challenge, achieved set goals, all while climbing for greater opportunities. One thing about Marsha; she didn’t play when it came to making her money. She was the true definition of an independent woman.
Throughout her life, she was blessed to travel with friends and family. She enjoyed treating herself as she loved all things hair, nails and fashion. She took pride in how she carried herself as a woman. She was fine as wine and she knew it. Marsha had a loving spirit and could light the darkest room. When in need, she always had the best advice, and she was an even better listener. To know her was to love her. She received the most joy from making lasting memories with those around her. She cherished her loved ones.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents John L. Colbert and Mattieleen S. Colbert, grandparents Albert and Cleola Martin, son Raheem Colbert and grandchild La’kyah Wright
