I remember the first time i met Martha. She had a rough start at LaGrange High. Me and a few other cadets were heading to ROTC and she was off to the side of the building crying. We took her into the building and comforted her there. She was immediately seen as friend. Her and I became close friends and soon after that considered each other family. I learned a lot from her. I'm forever grateful to have such a wonderful person in my life and she will forever be family to me. Until we meet again my friend. Much love to you and your family.

Martha everyone from Lake Charles, LA that ever met you was shocked to hear this devastating news. Martha smiles and stayed happy no matter what life thrown at her. She definitely was taken from this world too soon. Although this is sad I am happy to see that she found true love and true happiness when she moved to Texas, and was able to enjoy somethings that most people have never had in a lifetime. She was finally able to have that family she always wanted. We miss you Martha; fly high and Rest In Peace 😔

Martha, her brother Juan and I were all in ROTC together, and Martha was always so kind and funny, no hilarious, outgoing and strong. I vividly remember her beating up dudes, just playing around but I'm sure she could have lol. I will miss you always friend.

Our deepest condolences to Martha's family. My husband and I got to meet Martha, Matthew and Scarlett through our Taekwondo after school pick up. In the short time that we knew her, she was always joyful and uplifting. I knew her a short time compared to others but I can still remember the last time I hugged her. My heart goes out to Matthew and Scarlett. Martha, rest assured that we will always be here for Scarlett and Matt. You will be missed dearly.

Thoughts and prayers are with Martha’s Family. I grew to love Martha when she lived in Lake Charles Louisiana. There are so many great memories I will cherish of Martha. Her passing is heavy in my heart. Martha was a beautiful spirit. A true Angel here on earth. Always smiling and uplifting the spirits of others. Loving, kind, caring, and compassionate. Those that knew her were blessed beyond measure. She’ll be deeply missed. So glad I crossed paths with her. I know without a doubt that she’s with the Lord. My condolences to her Family.
