Tom was born in Altus, Okla., on April 11, 1930. He graduated from Brownwood High School and received a business degree from Howard Payne University. He was married to Ramona Ruth Savage on Sept. 19, 1965. Tom had a career for 35 years in metal trading for Commercial Metal Company.
Tom was a member of SPEBSQSA and New World United Methodist Church. He had a passion for his wife, barbershop singing, church family, and pets.
Survivors: He is survived by wife, Ruth Savage; children, Kelly Savage, Rex Savage; stepdaughter, Donna Berkes; stepson, Mike Berkes; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Georgia May Davis.
