I always felt blessed that MJ called me her friend. We would enjoy sushi together and many long talks. I will miss her forever. The best memory is when she came over after our pool was installed and we sat in comfy chairs while George waited on us

Mary Jo was such a dear friend. I loved her dry sense of humor. When she would break a bone, she would always say " We Waco High students are tough" and never complain. She will be missed by so many.

I’m so sorry to read of Mary Jo’s death. She lived two streets behind me on 34th and we went all through school together. Sending prayers for her family.
