

Mary Evelyn Watts, age 81, of Cedar Hill, Texas passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, surrounded by her family. Mary Evelyn Watts was born on Thursday October 5, 1944, in Columbia, Kentucky to Acy and Carrie Bryant. She grew up in Kentucky, living there until she married Edward Watts, the couple then moved to Fort Worth where she and her family would reside for many years. Mary was an LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) for 42 years, working at Arlington Memorial hospital for 25 years of her career. Taking care of her patients was very important to her, somedays caring for them was more important than having a meal during her shift. She was committed and knew the importance of her work.
When she wasn't working, Mary loved going to church on Sunday's and made her faith a big part of her life. Her family and friends will always remember her as a caring wife and mother, a loving and hardworking person, and a Christian woman.
Mary Loved pigs and monkeys, especially as stuffed animals. She and her family would take vacations to Kentucky to see family and visit where she grew up. Most importantly she loved to spend time with her family. It didn't really matter what they were doing as long as they were together.
She in preceded in death by her parents Acy and Carrie Bryant.
Mary is survived by her Husband Edward Watts, and children Timothy and Cynthia Watts.
Mary will be truly missed by many relatives and friends, cherishing all the good memories shared with her. She will always be remembered for the loving spirit and kindness she showed to everyone around her.
