

Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: The family will receive visitors and friends 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home.
Jo was born Feb. 16, 1922, in Celina to Ed and Edith Stone. She graduated from North Texas State Teachers College in Denton and stayed active in the Phoreffs sorority. She taught for one year and then moved to Dallas to work at Love Field, where she met her husband, Robert "Bob" Wolfe. Jo and Bob were married on Armistice Day, Nov. 11, 1944. The Air Force took them to Japan and Puerto Rico, where they made many friends through their travels. She taught high school business in Puerto Rico, and then for 15 years at Sam Houston High School in Arlington. They retired in Arlington, close to lifelong friends and family. She was an active member of Epworth University Methodist Church.
Jo and Bob were married for 63 wonderful years and had two children, Ann and Bud; and three grandchildren, Clay, Brad and Ray. Jo was devoted to her children and grandchildren, "Mimi's angels." She loved traveling, entertaining friends in their home and was an avid reader. She was famous for her eggs benedict and cheese grits.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.
Survivors: Daughter, Ann McDonald; son, Robert "Bud" and wife, Linny; grandchildren, Clay McDonald and wife, Katherine, and Brad McDonald and Ray Wolfe; and great-grandchildren, Walker, Ellie, Adeline and Davis McDonald.
