Maxine Pierce Eckelman

Celebration of Life: Thursday July 14, 2011 from 6-8 PM.

Ms. Eckelman was born Arpil 19, 1916 in Kerens, TX. She was a long time resident of Arlington and a member of First United Methodist Church of Arlington. Maxie retired from Chance Vought Air Craft after 20 years of service, she then entered the glamorous world of Sara Coventry Jewelry where she traveled extensively. Maxie also was a devoted Texas Ranger fan. She is preceded in death by her parents, D.L. and Lela Mae Pierce; sisters Arlene Tramel, Helen Nobels, and Rosalie Wilson; brothers D.L. Pierce, Jr. and Raymond Pierce. The family would to thank North Pointe Nursing & Rehab, and Integra Care Hospice for all their loving care.

Surviors include daughters Glenda Kent of Plano, TX and Wanda Williams of Myrtle Point, OR.; sister Belle Marshall of Ft. Worth, TX; brothers Joe Pierce of San Antiono, TX and Jimmy Pierce of Springtown, TX. Also numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
