Service: A private burial will be held at a later date in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Doug was born March 13, 1939, in Frost. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years. In 1974, after completing his accounting degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and obtaining his CPA license, he began his career with the Defense Contract Audit Agency. Doug was a true patriot who loved his country. Doug also loved fishing in Alaska with his family, hunting and traveling the world.
Survivors: His loving wife of 51 years, Shirley Wood; daughter, Bliss Tancred (Chris) of Carrollton; son, Michael Wood (Kristie) of Seligman, Mo.; and his granddaughters whom he loved with all of his heart, Chelsea and Courtney Moore.
