Michael David Dunnavent was born on September 1, 1945, to David and Lois Dunnavent. He met and married Bobbie McElhanon on October 30, 1965. They were married for 60 years. He graduated from Irving high school in 1963. He graduated from Texas Wesleyan in Fort Worth with an accounting degree. He went to work for Lone Star Gas. Michael was an avid softball player , dove and quail hunter. He enjoyed being with his family and taking family vacations. Michael was a devout Christian who attended Baker Street church of Christ in Richland Hills.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Bobbie of 60 years, his two Children, Blake of Bossier City, La. and Drake with his wife Raeanne of Fort Worth, Tx, and his 3 grandchildren, Darby and her husband James Hoover of Lampasas, Tx, Rhett and Rachel.
