Myrle Clark Knox, age 84, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021. She was born on January 9,1937 in Fort Worth, Texas, but moved to Louisiana when she was young and always thought of Alexandria, Louisiana as her home.
She moved to Grand Prairie in her mid-twenties and that is where she spent the rest of her life.
Myrle was a proud Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother and her spare time was spent with family and friends. Birthday parties, sports events, and anything in between, you could always count on her to be there.
She was well known for her classy taste, her stylish looks and her art. She had a passion for art that surpassed anyones understanding and it showed throughout the town of Grand Prairie as well as through the homes of her loved ones.
Christmas around Myrle was always an experience, it was her favorite time of year. One reason for this was probably her great love for shopping!
Above all Myrle loved her family and friends.
Myrle is preceded in death by her husband: Fred Knox; her first husband: Buddy Clark; Parents: Melvin and Christine Hass; Brother: Melvin Jr. Haas; Sister: Mary Ann Sawvell.
She is survived by Sons: Ricky Clark and Randy Clark; Stepson: Fred Knox Jr.; Stepdaughter: Kandy Franklin; Grandchildren: Brandy Clark, Marcus Deleon, Ryann Vanoven, Shelby Clark, Casey Clark, Kacy Taylor, Austin Franklin; and eleven great-grandchildren.
