Myrtle K Cole

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, January 21, 2013, at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. Larry Ashlock will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 21, 2013, at Moore Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral at the same location.

Myrtle was born in Euless, Texas, on February 20, 1920. She graduated from Euless High School as valedictorian and then attended business school.

Myrtle was married to Leon McGinnis on January 30, 1939. She later married Roy Cole in February 1971; they were married twenty-two years.

Myrtle worked as a bookkeeper and office manager for Robertson, Mueller and Harper Funeral Home for over fifty years. She was an expert seamstress and in her spare time she loved to play slot machines.

Myrtle is survived by her sons, Homer, Gerry, and Jerry, McGinnis and her grandchildren Leland McGinnis, Deanna Jackson, Melanie McGinnis, Gary Wayne McGinnis, Larry McGinnis, Leslie Wood, Andee Bohlin, and Brandee McGinnis. She also has nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Myrtle is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Annie Morelock, six siblings, and her husband Roy.
