Myrtle G Shannon

Arlington — Myrtle G. Shannon, age 94, a long-time resident of the Arlington Texas, walked into the arms of Jesus on Saturday the 2nd day of September, at 12:30 p.m. while surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of her home.

Born August 13, 1923, in Stephenville Texas., Myrtle married Llyod M Shannon August 26th, 1942, She was an amazing Wife, Sister, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

She is survived by 4 amazing children, Robert (Bob) Shannon, Ronald Shannon, Dianna Shannon and Donald Shannon, along with 7 beautiful grandchildren, Melissa Williams, Shannon Rice, Angie Shannon, Chris Shannon, Lisa Lonchar, Jennifer Wood and Michael Wood and several beautiful great grandchildren.

Her life surpassed her grandson Ronnie Wayne Shannon.

Myrtle loved art and was an amazing painter who also enjoyed doing crafts such as porcelain dolls, sewing and crocheting. She loved socializing and spending quality time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Myrtle had a beautiful smile that could light up a room.
