

SERVICE – 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 9, 2018 at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, TX 76012. A private family burial will be at a later date.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J Fox Foundation which is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson’s Disease.
Nancy was born in Buffalo, NY on March 12, 1930 to parents Gertrude Hildagard Rogers Pixley and Archibald Raymond Pixley. She married James Cleary Follett Jr. on October 23, 1949 in Franklinville, NY. After owning and operating a grocery store with her husband, she became a homemaker, raising her three children, Jim, John and Sue. At times she was a single parent, while her husband was working overseas for Bell Helicopter. She and her children were able to enjoy living in Germany with him, and traveling to many parts of Europe. As a young woman she was a Matron of the Eastern Stars. Nancy had numerous hobbies including crafts, sewing, knitting, crocheting, playing bridge, spades and other card games, bowling and was a self taught organ player. Her greatest passion was being a dedicated wife, Mother and Grandmother, enjoying her family in her home while she prepared one her many delicious meals, as well as spending time with them camping and boating at various lakes in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Her happiest moments were when she was surrounded by family sharing stories, humor and lot’s of love.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James Cleary Follett.
Nancy is survived by her sons, Jim Follett (wife Kathey), John Follett (wife Mary), daughter Sue Caldwell (husband Mark), grandchildren Jennifer (husband Patrick), Sam (wife Rachael), Steven (wife Laura), Gary (wife Stacy), Travis and Shelby, and 7 great grandchildren.
