Nell Payne

Nell was born in Sealy on March 7, 1922. She was a member of the June Taylor Dance Company and preformed with the Jackie Gleason Show. She modeled shoes for the Andrew Gellar Co., was a co-owner of a private club with her late husband, Dave Howard L'Ecuyer, and worked for Penland Distributors in Dallas. She was president of the Council of Garden Clubs, president of St. Maria Goretti Garden Club and a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Arlington.

Nell was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Dwight P. Payne, and her first husband of 25 years, David Howard L'Ecuyer.

L'Ecuyer III and wife, Susan L'Ecuyer, BecKee Traplena and husband, Frank Traplena, CynDee Varble and husband, Billy Varble; grandchildren, Lauryn Kirby and husband, Jason Kirby, Preston L'Ecuyer and wife, Kameryn L'Ecuyer, and Angi Johnson and husband, Justin Johnson; and great-grandchildren, T.J., Trap and Ty Johnson.
