A devoted Catholic, beloved mother, and grandmother, Nghia Nguyen, was called home to eternal life on October 21, 2026 in Arlington, Texas, at the age of 74. She was born on November 28, 1951, in Phan Thiet, Vietnam, to Bi Nguyen and On Nguyen.
To her children and grandchildren, her love was felt in countless everyday ways: in the meals she cooked, the prayers she said for each of them, and the care she gave without ever being asked. She also loved her flowers, her roses, her trees, and the blooms of her labor.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Nho Nguyen, who passed away in 2020, and her son, Nam Nguyen, who sadly passed away in 2015. Her legacy is carried by her five sons, Lam, Luan, Lich, Phong, and Mathew; her daughter, Thanh Phuong; and her many grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph Vietnamese Catholic Church, followed by burial at Moore Funeral Home & Memorial Garden.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
